G-SDDC Glass Fitting Maxi Dual Glaze Pet Door — Clear

Both have the same 267mm cut-out and 187mm × 190mm usable opening (flap panel 187mm × 203mm). The G-SDDC is the dual glaze version with a deeper frame accommodating glass up to 28mm, suited to double-glazed units. The G-SDDSLC is the slim line version with a lower profile frame, suited to single glazing and sliding doors up to 21mm.

The G-SDDC suits glass from 3mm to 28mm thick, covering standard single glazing and most double-glazed units. For glass thicker than 28mm, please contact us to discuss your options.

No — the G-SDDC requires professional glazier installation. A 267mm round hole must be drilled through the glass using specialist equipment. Attempting DIY installation risks cracking or shattering the glass. Contact us if you need a referral.

The G-SDDC is the Catwalk® Maxi pet door — for all cats, including large breeds such as Maine Coons, and small dogs up to about 300mm at the shoulder, such as Chihuahuas, Toy Poodles, Maltese and Yorkshire Terriers. The usable opening is 187mm wide × 190mm high (the flap panel is 203mm high; about 13mm sits in the hinge). Before ordering, measure your pet standing: width at the widest point + 25mm must fit inside 187mm, and body depth (top of shoulders to bottom of chest) + 25mm inside 190mm. The G-SDDC dual glaze frame projects 16.22mm on the inner face and 11.72mm on the outer face of the glass. The deeper inner projection accommodates the full thickness range of double-glazed units up to 28mm.
