Dogwalk® dog doors are designed in New Zealand by Pet-Tek International and trusted by dog owners, glaziers, and pet retailers worldwide. All models are manufactured from UV-stabilised high-impact polycarbonate with a weather seal, a 4-way manual locking system, and a flap that swings higher than standard designs — reducing stress on the hinge and flap for longer-lasting performance. The unique round cut-out required for glass fitting models makes them the preferred choice for glaziers. The range covers two installation types — glass fitting for ranch sliders and double-glazed panels, and wood fitting for timber and PVC doors — across three dog sizes: intermediate, standard, and maxi. Every model ships worldwide from Auckland with installation instructions included.

Frequently Asked Questions
The Dogwalk® range covers three size categories. The maxi pet door (G-SDDSL range) suits large cats and small dogs up to around 300mm shoulder height. The intermediate dog door (G-IDD and W-SDD ranges) suits small to medium breeds up to approximately 380mm shoulder height and 15kg. The standard dog door (G-DD and W-DD ranges) suits medium to large breeds up to approximately 450mm shoulder height and 20–25kg. Always measure your dog at the shoulder before selecting a model. No. Glass fitting dog doors require a round cut-out made at the time of glass manufacture. Toughened (tempered) and double-glazed glass panels cannot be cut after manufacture — the glass panel must be replaced with a new one that has the hole pre-cut. Your glazier can arrange this. Contact us if you need guidance on the correct cut-out size for your chosen model.
Yes. All Dogwalk® models include a weather seal to reduce draughts and keep rain and insects out. Security is maintained via a 4-way manual locking system — set to fully open, in-only, out-only, or fully locked. Glass fitting models have no external screws, preventing tampering from outside. Security clips are also available for the glass fitting dog door range as an additional locking measure.
The slimline models (G-DDSLC, G-DDSLW, G-IDDSLC, G-IDDSLW) have a lower-profile frame depth, designed specifically for installations where there is limited clearance behind a sliding door or within a narrow frame. The standard dual glaze models (G-DDC, G-DDW, G-DDB, G-IDDC, G-IDDW, G-IDDB) have a deeper frame that accommodates a wider range of glass thicknesses including thicker double-glazed units. Both share the same flap opening size within the same size category.
