G-DDSLC Glass Fitting Dog Door — Slim Line Clear

The G-DDSLC is the slim line version, suited to single glazing and sliding door glass up to 20mm thick. The G-DDC is the dual glaze version with a deeper frame accommodating glass up to 32mm, better suited to double-glazed units. Both share the same 385mm cut-out and 270mm × 300mm usable opening.

The G-DDSLC suits glass from 4mm to 20mm thick, covering standard single glazing and most single glazed sliding doors. If your glass is thicker than 20mm, the dual glaze model G-DDC suits up to 32mm.

No — the G-DDSLC requires professional glazier installation. A 385mm round hole must be drilled through the glass using specialist equipment. Attempting DIY installation risks cracking or shattering the glass. Contact us if you need a referral.

The G-DDSLC is the Dogwalk® Medium dog door — specially developed for medium to semi-large dogs such as Beagles, Border Collies, Spaniels and Blue Heelers, up to a shoulder height of 450–500mm. The usable opening is 270mm wide × 300mm high (the flap panel is 313mm; about 13mm sits in the hinge). Before ordering, measure your dog standing: width at the widest point + 25mm must fit inside 270mm, and body depth (top of shoulders to bottom of chest) + 25mm inside 300mm. Fit the door with the bottom of the opening level with your dog’s belly. Labradors and Golden Retrievers sit at or above the top of the range — measure first or contact us. Yes — the G-DDSLW is the white slim line version with identical specifications, better suited to white-framed doors and windows.

The G-DDSLC frame has a 16mm projection depth on both the inner and outer face of the glass. This projection keeps the door secure and flush while accommodating the full glass thickness range of 4–20mm.
