The Dogwalk® W-DDW is the Medium wood fitting dog door, suitable for installation into timber, PVC and metal panels from 5mm to 36mm thick. It features a clip-on security cover and 4-way locking dials for enhanced security, a full brush weather seal for draught-free quiet operation, and a UV-stabilised high-impact polycarbonate flap. Easy to install at home with the supplied template. Specially developed for medium to semi-large dogs such as Beagles, Border Collies, Spaniels and Blue Heelers, up to a shoulder height of 450–500mm. 3-year manufacturer's warranty*. The usable opening is 270mm wide × 307mm high (the flap panel is 320mm; about 13mm sits in the hinge). Before ordering, measure your dog standing: width at the widest point + 25mm must fit inside 270mm, and body depth (top of shoulders to bottom of chest) + 25mm inside 307mm. Fit the door with the bottom of the opening level with your dog’s belly. Labradors and Golden Retrievers sit at or above the top of the range — measure first or contact us. The inner frame projects 10mm and the outer frame 10.4mm from the panel face. The flap-to-body gap is machined to a near-zero tolerance and finished with a full brush seal, so there is no daylight around the flap for a draught to use.
