Both are replacement flaps for multi-magnetic cat doors. The W-MCDRF is designed for wood fitting models (W-MCDW, W-MCDB) which mount into timber doors or walls. The G-MCDRF is for the glass fitting model (G-MCDW). The two flaps are not interchangeable — always check your door's model prefix before ordering.
Not necessarily. The C-M collar magnet is a separate component that activates the door's locking system. If the door still unlocks correctly for your cat but the flap is worn, you only need the W-MCDRF. If the door is no longer unlocking reliably, you may also need to replace the collar magnet pair.
